Easy To Print
Panchroma Silk prints easily on most FDM 3D printers without requiring special hardware. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned maker, it delivers reliable adhesion and clean finishes at standard settings—right out of the box.
High Speed Printing
Print confidently at speeds up to 250mm/s while keeping excellent surface detail; great for high-output print farms or weekend warriors looking for reliable, good-looking multi color parts done in record time.
Polymaker vs Generic Brands

Can I print fast without losing the silk finish?
Yes! Our new formula maintains its high-gloss silk effect even at speeds up to 150mm/s
What makes Panchroma Silk PLA better than other silk filaments?
Compared to generic brands, Panchroma Silk PLA resists clogs, snapping, and stringing. It also offers better layer adhesion and supports high-speed printing.

Customers praised this silk PLA filament for its "smooth and shiny" finish, vibrant colors, and excellent print quality. Many noted it prints easily with standard settings and arrives well-packaged. The sheen is "amazing" for decorative prints. Some advised printing slower for maximum shine and keeping temperatures cool. One delivery issue was noted.

The colors and just glossiness of the filament is insane looks so good for decoration
High quality and gear colors the colors they have are bright and long lasting no fading long lasting strength of prints I would recommend it to everyone!
Super easy filament to work with. I literally just loaded it into the printer and started printing, no tuning, no adjustments, nothing. It printed clean right out of the gate.
The silk silver finish looks great, especially on visible parts. Nice shine without looking cheap, and layer lines blend in really well.
Print quality has been consistent, and I didn’t run into any issues like clogging or excessive stringing.
Overall, this is a solid “plug-and-play” filament that gives really clean, high-end looking results with zero hassle.
I've been using Polymaker filament for a very long time and have had very consistent results. The Silk Green prints really well. I am running two CORE Ones and to get the best surface finish. I manually go into Prusaslicer and slow down all of the speeds to 60-80mm/s and you will get a very smooth and consistent surface finish.
Excellent Silk color it's very deep blue and shiny. Mesmerizing to look at when printed.
This is one of my go-to Greens! I love this green so much and the silk finish is really nice
Gorgeous gold color. Printed easily with a profile I use for other silks with minimal adjustments needed.
I would love to say this is the best filament or worst filament but stil l have not received it and the delivery company uniuni is no help even after I gave them my address and they keep saying unable to deliver due to wrong address . If they changed delivery companies to Fedx , ups or even the post office that knows how to deliver a package I'll give them another try
Hey Marty!
Sorry for never formerly replying to this review! Looks like we were able to help get this replaced though via our support email. Apologies again for the shipping issues!
Always dry, prints perfectly and the color is AMAZING
This was great at 45mm/s outer wall speeds. Nice shine. It goes more of a matte finish at 100mms +
Gold silk filament is goated. Perfect for my business.
This is an excellent filament, and I have purchased 10 rolls and it's definitely being used. Current project is a large scale T60 Power Armor suite from the series Fall Out. It has the perfect shiny gun metal finish the project to life. I will definitely continue to use this filament. It prints easy with little to no adjustments in the slicer, It's really just a slice and print filament with easily break away supports. Great Job on your new filament line!
Printed great. I posted a pic of my make on your discord
Polymak Silk Silver printed great on myPrusaCore One with a slightly modified profile PLA profile; which slowed down the print speed. I mainly bought this to print a Vince Lombardi Trophy for my son's fantasy football league. I turned out amazing.
Panchroma Silk PLA prints great using standard PLA settings. The gold color has an awesome sheen.
Works more metalic feeling than a metalic PLA somehow. If you want a shiny metalic gold I recommend to get this one instead.
This is a great bronze filament but it needs to be able to print on the newerhigh speed printers 200mm/s-600mm/s
This silk chrome PLA has more of a shiny stainless steel look to it, which is exactly what I was looking for. Polymaker makes some of the best filaments on the market, and this PLA is no exception. It prints well using pretty standard settings, and the layer adhesion is somewhat better than most silk PLAs I've used. I like the finish I got on the Cybertrucks I printed at my normal settings - it's shiny, but not glossy. If you want a glossier finish, use a slower speed for the external perimeter (aka outer wall in some slicers).
Green is my favorite color and so it was a no brainer when I saw Polymaker had a green silk. It printed really well for this droid mask I made at 120% scale. I printed at 230c & 50mm/s for the outside and top walls to ensure maximum shininess, and no adaptive layer lines.I highly recommend all Polymaker filaments provided you can get them on a sale. :-)
