Keep your workspace stocked for high-volume printing with the Polymaker PETG Black 10 Pack Bundle. Ten spools of versatile Black PETG give makers, print farms, and production teams the dependable supply needed for larger builds, repeat orders, and everyday functional parts.

What’s Included:

  • 10 x Polymaker™ PETG Black

High-Speed Performance, Reliable Strength

Polymaker™ PETG is engineered for clean, accurate extrusion at speeds up to 300 mm/s, delivering strong layer adhesion, low warp behavior, and a smooth surface finish. Its balance of toughness, flexibility, chemical resistance, and temperature tolerance makes it an excellent choice for brackets, fixtures, tools, housings, and more.

Easy to print on most FDM printers without an enclosure, this bulk bundle keeps your go-to functional filament ready whenever production calls.

Printing Requirements

None! This will print great on any stock 3D printer!

While possible to print Galaxy PETG with a 0.4mm nozzle, if you want to avoid any chance of a clog - you may want to use a 0.6mm or larger.

Printing Tips

  • Keep the filament sealed and dry when not in use. For filament that has not been left exposed for a long time, dry it at 60°C for 6 hours. If it has been exposed for an extended period, especially in hot and humid conditions, use a longer drying cycle as needed.
  • For build plate adhesion: For best results, use a textured PEI build plate. When printing on smooth PEI or glass, apply a thin layer of glue stick as a release layer to prevent the print from bonding too strongly. If the first layer is not sticking, slightly increase the bed temperature and slow down the first-layer printing speed.
  • If stringing occurs: Dry the filament first. If stringing remains, reduce the nozzle temperature within the recommended 240–260°C range, then fine-tune retraction and travel settings.
  • If layer adhesion is weak: Reduce cooling within the recommended 20–60% range, slightly increase the nozzle temperature within the recommended range, and reduce printing speed if needed. If using an enclosed printer, closing the enclosure may also help improve layer adhesion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We've got answers. From choosing the right material to caring for your spools, here's everything you need to know in one spot.

How fast can Polymaker™ PETG print?

With a standard nozzle up to 300mm/s easily, with a high flow nozzle you can achieve printing speeds up to 500mm/s or greater!

Do I need to use the cooling fan with Polymaker™ PETG?

Yes, minimum fan speed 20% at 30 second layer time and maximum fan speed 60% with 10 second layer time.

Is this material AMS compatible?

Yes! All Polymaker spools now have hardened edges that roll great in the AMS.

Is this material food safe?

Unfortunately we do not have any data whether this material is food safe. As of now, no 3D printing material on the market is FDA food safe compliant.

Can I use a textured PEI build plate with Polymaker™ PETG?

Yes, however you need to let the print and bed sheet cool to room temp before removing. Recommended to use a bed separation agent if needed.

How does PETG compare to PLA or ABS?

More durable and heat-resistant than PLA, easier to print and less odorous than ABS, with better water and chemical resistance.

Is Polymaker™ PETG hygroscopic?

Yes, recommended to use PolyDryer™ Box for storing after opened. PETG is very hygroscopic and will cause stringing and surface defects if not properly dried.

Can PETG be used for outdoor applications?

Yes, PETG is UV and water-resistant, making it suitable for outdoor parts, though prolonged exposure may degrade some properties.

Can I print without an enclosure?

Yes, an enclosure is not needed for PETG.

Will the Galaxy glitters clog my nozzle?

Not with a 0.4mm size or larger nozzle. We have tested large prints with the Galaxy colors to be sure this is not an issue.
