Does it work with AMS and other multi material systems?

Yes. The cardboard spools are AMS / Multi Material compatible.

What printers is it compatible with?

It works on any PLA-capable machine - Creality Ender, Prusa, Bambu Lab, Anycubic, Elegoo, Flashforge, and more. No special hardware is needed.

Do I need an enclosure?

No. Panchroma Gradient Silk prints perfectly on open or enclosed setups.

Do I need a hardened nozzle?

No. Standard nozzles are fine since this filament doesn’t contain abrasives.

What nozzle size should I use?

0.4 mm is the standard choice for detail. Larger nozzles like 0.6 or 0.8 mm work great also but sacrifice detail.

How fast can I print while keeping the glossy silk look?

The silk finish stays glossy even at high speeds. For best results, print up to 150mm/s.

Is it brittle or clog-prone like some silk PLAs?

No. The updated formula reduces brittleness and clogging while improving layer adhesion.

Is it beginner-friendly?

Yes. It’s designed to print easily on most common printers without special profiles or upgrades.

Do I need to dry the filament?

Only if you notice stringing or brittle filament. If so, dry at 55 °C for 6 h.

What projects is it best for?

Ideal for cosplay props, toys, figurines, miniatures, gifts, and décor - any print where smooth gradients and shine matter.

What layer heights work well?

0.2 mm works for most prints. Use 0.12–0.16 mm for fine detail or 0.24-0.28 mm for faster prints.

Any tips to reduce stringing on glossy silk filaments?

Keep the filament dry, enable cooling fan, tune retraction for your setup, and slightly lower temps if needed.

Will it work for functional parts?

It’s best for aesthetic prints. For load-bearing or heat-resistant parts, use a stronger material.

Great color shift!
