Fiberon™ PA6-GF25: High-Performance Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon 6 Filament  (Formerly PolyMide™ PA6-GF)

Exceptional Strength, Stiffness, and Heat Resistance
Fiberon™ PA6-GF25 is a glass fiber reinforced PA6 (Nylon 6) filament containing 25% glass fiber by weight. This advanced composite material delivers outstanding mechanical strength, high stiffness, and excellent thermal properties, making it ideal for demanding engineering, automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications.

Key Features

  • 25% Glass Fiber Reinforcement: Significantly enhances rigidity, strength, and dimensional stability.
  • Excellent Thermal Properties: Withstands high temperatures, featuring a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of up to 191°C after annealing.
  • Superior Layer Adhesion: Maintains strong interlayer bonding for durable, cohesive prints.
  • Minimal Warping: Warp-Free™ technology allows printing at lower bed temperatures (40–50°C), reducing the risk of warpage and improving dimensional accuracy.
  • High-Speed Printing: Compatible with print speeds up to 300 mm/s.

Easy-to-Use for Advanced Users
Fiberon™ PA6-GF25 does not require a heated chamber and can be printed reliably on high-performance FDM/FFF 3D printers equipped with a hardened steel nozzle due to the abrasive nature of glass fibers. For best results, filament drying before printing and post-print annealing (100°C for 10–16 hours) are strongly recommended to maximize mechanical and thermal performance.

Same Trusted Formula, New Name
Fiberon™ PA6-GF25 is the same high-performance material as PolyMide™ PA6-GF, now under the Fiberon™ brand.

Choose Fiberon™ PA6-GF25 for applications requiring maximum strength, stiffness, and heat resistance without compromising printability or layer adhesion.

Formerly called PolyMide PA6-GF.

Customers praised this PA6-GF25 filament for exceptional print quality and strength. Reviews highlight it "prints like butter" with minimal warping and produces high-quality parts for brackets, enclosures, and impact components. Some noted a learning curve for optimal settings and occasional surface imperfections requiring cleanup. Packaging quality varied.

Keep on my shelf

Love this stuff. Great layer adhesion. Durable, strong, beautiful to print.

I personally use from automotive and 3d2a. You cannot beat polymaker's quality.

4/5 due to it not being available in OD green. Review could change if OD becomes available.

Best PA6-GF I have used

Best PA6-GF I have used.
I've used and tested with many brands of this type of material and this is without a doubt the best to print with and produces the highest quality parts. No warping, no heated chamber, no stress. I never have to fear for this stuff warping.

Once I figured out the nuances to printing it without warping it worked great

Once I figured out the nuances to printing it without warping it worked great. Strong material and I am getting a good finish. Annealing seems to be more important than I thought originally.

Durable material prints with great properties

UPDATE: When I initially wrote this review, I was having some troubles with the material clogging my hot end. As it turns out, I was having thermistor issues that was causing my printer to get a false positive overheat and shutting down, causing the partially melted - but still extruding - material to create clogs. With that issue out of the way, the material now prints correctly and I'm getting some very, very positive results and only one minor drawback. So far, the only real drawback is on complex parts (with internals and externals) there seems to be small little build ups of 'cruddies' at various points on the models. This means lots of clean up work on the final print. I am using their recommended extrusion and retraction settings.Overall, Polymaker's customer support has been - thus far - exemplary. I've sent them pictures of the existing issue and my printer and print settings, now I am waiting on their next response. As far as the material itself, it has really great properties and is one of the most durable I've seen for 3D Printers to date. I'm looking forward to seeing whether or not it can by dyed to something other than this weird gray color.

Printed on Creality K1C

Made items that were threaded 1.65” diameter with a thru hole of 1” and length of 3”. Had to tweak the model to get the O.D. Perfect but this stuff prints like butter. Printed using a tungsten carbide nozzle at 290 degrees Celsius. Was able to print four pieces at a time with zero issues. Each .5kg role made 12 parts. Parts are strong and can handle impact. These were never annealed after the print process was completed.

A great choice for general prototypes. I’ve been using this for lightweight brackets and electronic enclosures without any problems. Compared to Fiberon’s PA6-CF20, the GF variant is less brittle and easier to work with, but the CF variant prints a bit sharper.

I bought my 3kg spool from their website, but it was shipped through Amazon. My box was pretty beat up, but they included a internal cardboard shell to help protect the spool, it mostly did the job, but i did have a bend on one section of the spool. I wish their packaging was more robust for the 3kg spools, especially if Amazon is tossing their boxes around.

Hello,
I read this filament have an UL class HB. Have you also an E-file number for this product?

Polymaker

No - I am sorry but PA6-GF has not been tested for flame retardancy. For Flame Retardancy we would suggest Fiberon PPS-GF or PPS-CF. Thanks!
